Skeeter's Military Side...

First I should start with why I have this page on my site.

It begins with the fact that I am an honorably discharged
United States Air Force Veteran myself.

I am also married to a United States Army Reserve Soldier. He was on active duty in the Marine Corps for 10 years when I met him. He is the love of my life. He was transferred to the Army Reserve when his father had his first Kidney Transplant in 1991, and the Marine Corp didn't have space in the local reserve unit.

He will always be a Marine in Spirit, but he is equally as proud of his past 10 years in the Army.  It was a difficult decision to transfer branches of service with so much time already in the military as a Marine, but as anyone knows about true Soldiers, they improvise, adapt and overcome. That is what makes them what they are,
The Pride of Our Nation.

We owe so much to the Men and Women who have served this country so unselfishly for so long.

I don't think it matters what branch of the Service you choose, it simply matters that you made the choice and followed it through. All branches have their respective reasons to be proud of themselves.

Without any one of the branches, the military would be a tree missing a limb. Please forgive me if I ask you not to debate who has the better branch with me. I think that all branches make the tree the "National Treasure" that it is today.

All of the Graphics you have enjoyed so far on this page came from a wonderful site that I highly recommend you visit.
